Getting to know Rachel Brown

Well hello there! I’m so glad you’re here. I’ve spent the past 10 years helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges, whether it’s trauma, addiction, anger, or just feeling stuck and overwhelmed. I’m trained in Solution-Focused Therapy, DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness, but more than anything, I believe in finding what works for you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My style is down-to-earth, nonjudgmental, and real. I meet you exactly where you are, no pressure, no pretense, and together, we tap into your strengths to build a life that feels more manageable, fulfilling, and aligned with who you truly are. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Therapy with me is collaborative, personal, and always tailored to your pace and needs.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Rapport is everything in this work. You deserve to feel safe, seen, and supported, and that’s the environment I strive to create. I’ll help you break your goals into manageable steps, so you’re not overwhelmed but still making progress. And yes, we’ll celebrate your wins (big or small) along the way while I gently challenge and encourage you to keep growing. Let’s do this work together. See ya in session!

I just had my first session with Rachel and it was great. She understood what issues I wanted to work on, asked questions to get more information and context, and helped discuss solutions and things that we can work on. Definitely will be continuing to see her regularly.
