I have worked in the mental health field for 17 years, helping people in many different settings, including private practice, building self-worth and self-esteem, exploring identity changes, grief and loss, HIV/AIDS, legal guardianship, domestic violence, homelessness, addictions, sex education, and acute psychiatric clinical assessment in the emergency room and in a psychiatric hospital setting.
