Asking for help is hard, and I'm so glad you're here! I help people who feel disconnected from themselves and want to improve their inner world. My clients long to build healthier, more loving connections. You deserve recovery from your pain. My approach I use an integrative approach to therapy - utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to connect with personal values and effective actions, as well as present-moment focused lenses like parts work and emotional awareness. I focus on helping you improve the relationship you have with yourself first. My focus My clients are often navigating their own challenges with substance use or have been impacted by someone else's use. My clients are folks who have found sobriety and recovery, and are seeking support for living a sober life. My clients may be seeking relief from worry or the struggles of a big life change. They find calm, compassion, and strength. My communication style I am direct, open, and non-judgmental (we all have our stuff!). I'm an active listener who provides relevant feedback and questions to increase insight of your experiences. You can expect honesty and patience. My journey to mental healthcare With a family history of anxiety and substance use, I knew I wanted to help people with families and experiences like mine. Finding healing in my own journey, I earned my Master's of Social Work and began working with clients who struggle with substance use and the people who love them. I also served clients with mental health struggles. My goals for you This experience is collaborative. I tell my clients that the best way to get the most out of treatment is to practice what we discuss between sessions. We develop goals together and adjust them as things begin to change for you.
