Rachel Fisher, LPC

Psychotherapist
PA
I am a Pennsylvania Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) with 17 years of clinical experience. I am an energetic, empathetic, humorous, and compassionate professional with a proven ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I am deeply attuned to the emotional and long-term effects of narcissistic abuse, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma, co-occurring conditions, and unresolved childhood issues. I understand how these challenges can profoundly impact daily functioning, often giving rise to low self-esteem, powerlessness, and hopelessness. Additionally, I specialize in breast cancer recovery, addressing the medical trauma, body image shifts, and existential anxiety that follow a diagnosis. Recognizing that this journey impacts the entire family, I support both survivors and their loved ones in navigating shifting roles, processing grief, and building resilience together. You do not have to navigate these struggles alone. In our initial session, we will explore what has brought you to therapy and collaboratively determine the most appropriate path forward. My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment Theory, and Family Systems approaches. My hope is that after our sessions, you leave feeling HEARD. It is daunting to feel incapable of regulating your emotions to navigate day-to-day or minute-to-minute. Trusting people with your innermost thoughts without feeling judged can be frightening; I would like the opportunity to provide a forum where you can emote and express yourself freely. My desire is to help you "ENHANCE" what you already have "WITHIN."
