Getting to know Rachel Fishman

Hi, I'm Rachel. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia and a National Certified Counselor. My desire as a counselor is to be present for you in a way that facilitates the growth that you are hoping for. My approach is best described as relational, flexible, and collaborative. I live and work according to a Christian worldview, therefore ?I love working with others who are seeking counseling that is in line with their Christian beliefs. However, my educational and professional experiences equip me to work with clients from all spiritual backgrounds and I welcome this opportunity. I received my masters in Counseling at Wake Forest University in 2011 after working as a case worker in the adoption and foster care system as well as in full time ministry. I've had an array of professional and life experiences since then, ranging from being a a full-time counselor, a part-time counselor, a volunteer, a homeschool teacher, and a full-time stay at home mom. These varied seasons in my professional life along with my own personal experience with counseling provide me with a broad perspective that helps me connect with many regardless of age, stage, or life situation.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
