Getting to know Rachel Freiberg
Rachel Freiberg was born and raised in Parkland, Florida. After completing her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Criminology at the University of Central Florida, she obtained her Master's in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University. She then furthered her training and became a Registered Play Therapist by the Association of Play Therapy.
She has extensive and diverse experience in school, community health, substance abuse, and penal facilities. She is comfortable in individual, family, and group settings. She is especially experienced in the area of child and adolescent trauma.
Rachel designs her treatment plans with a tailored approach to meet the unique needs of each of her clients. Fundamentally, this is based upon creating a strong therapeutic bond by cultivating a safe, judgment-free environment. Commonly employed therapeutic modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, person-centered therapy, and play therapy (for children).

What should a new client know about working with you?
During our initial few sessions we will work together to get a feel for your current stressors. We will collaboratively create a treatment plan that fits you, and continue to work towards those goals in subsequent sessions. We will also deal with stressors as they come up and learn new ways to problem solve, while also looking at the underlying emotions related to those stressors.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
