My name is Rachel, and I am a licensed associate counselor and board-certified music therapist. I hold two master's degrees from Immaculata University: one in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and another in Music Therapy. I have experience working with a variety of populations across the lifespan. Some of my clinical experiences include supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, inpatient psychiatric care, hospice, and private practice. I use a combination of counseling and music therapy to meet the unique needs of every individual I work with.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults, especially those who are experiencing life transitions. Some of the most meaningful work I have done in my career involved working with individuals on hospice and I am comfortable sitting with someone as they process inevitable changes in life.
I aim to provide a safe, comforting space for my clients to make insights about themselves and gain clarity on how to achieve their fullest potential. I use a person-centered approach and believe that meeting the client where they are at is one of the best ways to develop a trusting therapeutic relationship.
It is not easy to take the step to start therapy and I am glad you have made it this far! I am excited to have
the opportunity to join you on your journey and wish you healing and peace.
