Whether you're focusing on sex therapy, trauma-informed care, or addressing other identified issues, sessions build on the goals outlined during our initial session. Together, we’ll explore patterns of behavior, emotional responses, and coping strategies to foster positive change and reduce negative symptoms. Typically, sessions occur weekly at the start, allowing us to establish a strong foundation and maintain momentum. Each session provides a safe, nonjudgmental space to process emotions, address concerning symptoms, and refine strategies that align with your goals. Our approach prioritizes understanding the root of challenges while promoting resilience and emotional balance, tailored to meet your unique needs At Elm Counseling, we offer the option for clients to utilize super bills for submitting out-of-network (OON) claims, rather than billing directly through insurance. To simplify the process, we partner with Mentaya, a service that handles out-of-network claims on your behalf at no additional cost to you. Many of our clients find this option beneficial, as most insurance plans reimburse 60%-80% of the session fee after the deductible for OON claims is met. Reimbursement rates and eligibility depend on your specific insurance plan and deductible. Mentaya streamlines the process, saving you time and effort while helping you maximize your benefits.
