Getting to know Rachel Rhee
According to the great poet Rainer Maria Rilke, "The only journey is the journey within." We all need help sometimes, and we all have room to grow. I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy—whether it is to address a severe mental illness, receive support through a rough season of life, or gain greater self-knowledge and unleash their full potential. My professional interests include psychoses, dissociative disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, and narcissistic abuse.
I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Eastern University. As a bilingual and bi-cultural therapist, I am especially sensitive to cultural issues and can provide therapy in Korean. I also address spiritual and religious issues in treatment, recognizing their importance in many clients’ healing journeys.

What should a new client know about working with you?
Your brain is like a muscle and therapy is like exercise for your brain. Sessions with me will not always feel comfortable because growth requires discomfort. But I provide a safe emotional space to feel and explore that discomfort and help you get more comfortable with being uncomfortable which is what helps you grow.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
