Psychotherapist
MA
I work with children, adolescents, and adults to create long lasting change in their lives. I help parents understand where clinical and behavioral needs combine with their child, and work through challenging behavior at home. Drawing from a number of therapeutic approaches, I use tools that are tailored to you to help you reach your goals. Have you been feeling overwhelmed or stuck? Have you or your child been struggling with how to cope with things? Maybe life has felt unmanageable lately. Do you find yourself overthinking conversations, battling perfectionism, feeling misunderstood, or feeling like life could be better, but you don't know how to get there? Whether you or your child are navigating anxiety, autism, ADHD, trauma, or other neurodivergence, you are looking for support that helps you better understand yourself - not change who you are. Are you ready for a change, but don't know where to start? I will meet you where you are at and create a plan to help you feel more grounded, in control, and at peace. I will follow your lead and help you improve the quality of your life. I invite you to reach out so we can begin this important work together.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I base my approach on each individual client's needs and preferences. You will be in charge of setting your goals for our time together, and you decide what progress looks like for you. I can help you narrow it down if that feels overwhelming!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We begin by getting to know each other a little bit, to allow you to feel comfortable and decide if I will be a good fit to help you. We discuss what you want to see changing in your life, and what "progress" looks like for you. I draw from a number of therapeutic approaches and talk to you about what approach works best for you. YOU are driving the process, I'm just the tour guide along for the ride!
