What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe that prioritizing mental health is just as important as physical health, and that it is the key to achieving overall wellness. I have been practicing therapy since 2018, and my main focus is working with female clients aged 18-65 who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, divorce/separation, and relationship issues. I also work with adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder who are struggling with interpersonal skills and relationships.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The most important step to seeing results in therapy is building a therapeutic relationship with my clients. I take the time to learn about your personality and unique experiences and perspectives to build a sense of trust and rapport. Learning about your past experiences and how it affects your life now will help me to understand how we can help you move forward and experience change and growth. I offer a free 15-minute introductory chat prior to our first session to determine if we are a good fit for one another and if my expertise aligns with your goals. I strive to create a warm, relaxed, and safe environment in which you will feel comfortable sharing your feelings and experiences. Goals are individualized to your needs and we will collaborate together to determine what is important to you and what you would like to improve or change.
