Getting to know Rachel Tavarez

I discovered a strong calling to support women navigating self-doubt, perfectionism, overthinking, and the weight of constantly putting others’ needs before their own. If you see yourself in this, you are not alone. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you work toward the goals that matter most to you. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker originally from Orlando, Florida, now proudly serving clients in Georgia and Florida. I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Central Florida. I integrate evidence-based modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, Motivational Interviewing techniques, mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care. I identify as she/her and as a Latina therapist, and I’m passionate about providing culturally informed therapy that honors the intersection of identity, culture, family dynamics, and lived experience. Creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and represented is central to my work. Outside of being a mental health therapist, I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, practicing yoga, being near the water, reading, and meditating.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
