What should a new client know about working with you?

I am dedicated to ongoing professional growth and regularly participate in continuing education and advanced training to strengthen my clinical skills and uphold the highest ethical standards. I strive to work collaboratively with clients to identify their strengths and build practical, effective coping strategies that support their mental health goals. I currently offer both daytime, evening availability, and Saturday availability.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I prefer to apply a range of therapeutic approaches based on the presenting problems rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. I consider the person’s needs, their goals, and past experiences in therapy. I have incorporated Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and a Holistic Approach, among others. It is helpful to combine techniques that can help target how the client thinks, feels, and acts. Clients can expect a comfortable space to discuss the reason for seeking therapy, build rapport, and evaluate if I am a good match for their needs. They can expect to discuss their background at their comfort level and to address some logistics, including which documents will need to be signed, the limits of confidentiality, cancellation policies, and what they hope to achieve in therapy.
