Getting to know Racquel Smith

Hi, my name is Racquel Smith, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Hunter College, City University of New York. Do you feel overwhelmed and pulled in a million directions? Are you struggling to have effective and open communication with your loved ones? Is it hard for you to navigate through life? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then you've come to the right place. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you to your happy place. I work with clients to identify their strengths and how to use them successfully while navigating through life. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including infertility, parenting issues, depression, anxiety, couples with relationship issues, career challenges, end-of-life concerns, and loss and grief. My treatment style is laid back but warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, and motivational interviewing. I also look at a person's strengths because we are always our biggest critic. I believe everyone has tools in their toolbox to build on their strengths, and I am here to guide you there. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I meet my clients where they are and work collaboratively, at their pace, to make them feel safe and supported. It takes courage to seek help for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps toward change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you to do the work. If there are no available time slots, please message me as I may be able to accommodate you. I look forward to working with you!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
