Rahel Katz, LMHC

Psychotherapist
MA
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and have been in practice for eight years. I work with adults navigating a wide range of challenges, including trauma, ADHD/neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, parentification, relationship and parenting concerns, stress, and life transitions. I especially enjoy supporting those exploring how past experiences shape present patterns and relationships. I ground my work in providing trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming care, offering a warm, supportive space where you can show up as your full self. Together, we’ll find what works best for you, drawing from tools like attachment theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), DBT, CBT, Relational-Cultural Theory, and feminist theory. If you're curious about working together, feel free to reach out to schedule a free 15-minute consultation—I’d love to connect.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can see if we’re a good fit for one another. If we decide to move forward, I’ll send over some initial paperwork and we’ll find a regular session time that works for you. Our first session will be an intake, where I’ll spend time getting to know you and your history so I can understand how best to support you moving forward.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I see therapy as a collaborative process—your input matters, and we’ll regularly check in to make sure our work together feels meaningful and aligned with your goals. I genuinely welcome feedback and view it as an important part of the therapeutic relationship.
