What should a new client know about working with you?

As a first-generation Polish American woman, I understand the profound ways culture, environment, family systems, and systemic experiences shape how individuals move through the world and engage in healing. I recently earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Chicago with a concentration in trauma-responsive care. I have worked with adolescents, adults, families, and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relational challenges, identity concerns, and life transitions. These experiences strengthened my skills in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration while reinforcing the importance of meeting clients with curiosity, humility, and compassion.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My clinical approach is culturally informed, trauma informed, relational, and strengths-based. I view clients through a person-in-environment lens and believe healing cannot be separated from the broader social, cultural, and systemic contexts that shape lived experience. I integrate modalities such as DBT, CBT, ACT, and Narrative Therapy while tailoring interventions to each client’s needs and goals. I value helping clients build capacity to tolerate heavy emotions, reconnect with their values and identities, and develop sustainable ways of coping and relating to themselves and others.
