Ramona Leonards, LPC

Ramona Leonards, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
Hi, I have enjoyed a career in the mental health field working with children, adolescents, and their families. I consider it a privilege to walk with people as they learn more about themselves and grow confidence in their own abilities. I have worked in private and public community agencies providing outpatient services. I hold a Master's in Psychology from the University of the Incarnate Word. My areas of experience include working with teenagers and young adults who are seeking to find their voice, come out of their shells, and grow into healthy adults. I also have experience working with adults in all stages of life who are trying to find peace and balance. I work with individuals to improve their self-esteem and overcome the memories that hold them back in life. I am English-speaking and offer individual therapy in a confidential setting. I believe that developing a trusting relationship is key to your success.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our initial meeting will include a review of some of your life history that may be a contributing factor to your current state of mind. After our first session, we can assess our "fit" with one another, and plan the frequency of our meetings. I believe that we need to understand the baseline of how you feel you're functioning at this time, as a means of observing progress you make toward the goals we set together.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
