I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wright State University, a PhD in Social Ethics from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor's degree from Arkansas State University. MAYBE YOU'RE THINKING, I CAN'T HANDLE IT. You're thinking this therapy experience isn't going to cut it, or that I can't handle what you've been through. Or that you're going to lay it all out on the table, and I'm going to diagnose you as ?crazy? or not understand anything that you are going through. So why even bother? You may have even (almost) talked yourself out of signing up for therapy? ?because what you've been through is a lot, and it's big, and it's been awful, haunting, and not an experience that many people around you have gone through. And I know I might seem like another therapist with some deep breathing techniques, a worksheet, and a notepad? ?but let me tell you, it won't feel like that.
