Hi, My name is Raquel. I am a mental health counselor, and Yoga teacher. I have been in the mental health field for over nine (9) years, working with children, adults, couples and families. Through therapy I will help you understand the roots of your symptoms, respecting where you are and working together on where you want to be. Therapy is based in a safe space where you can unveil your feelings and emotions, without judgment or an agenda. Together we will look for the origin and we will arrive at the final solution that allows you to have a full life. I have a holistic approach characterized by the treatment of the whole person, taking into account mental and social factors, rather than just the symptoms. This is a helping relationship, which will focus on your present in order to understand why your problems have arisen and why they have persisted over time. The goal is to find harmony between mental and physical health as the key to attaining mind-body balance.
