Getting to know Rashaunda Watson

Hi! First off, I want to commend you for taking this step to try therapy. Starting therapy and being vulnerable can be scary at first and takes courage, so kudos to you for taking this first step. A little about me, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I received my Bachelors in Psychology from the University of South Florida, and my Masters in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Central Florida. I have worked with individuals who have experienced adult and childhood trauma, domestic violence, substance use disorders, depression, and anxiety. In addition to that, I have worked with the homeless population for over 7 years. I have always been fascinated with human psychology and the way our mind works. I believe that the human mind is incredible and has unique ways of protecting us. Sometimes we have to learn new ways in the aftermath of a traumatic event, and that's okay. I am an INFJ personality type (for any MBTI fans out there) and provide a caring, sensitive, and empathic approach to working with clients. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
