Raven Scott, LPC

Raven Scott, LPC

Psychotherapist
AL
Hi, I'm Dr. Raven Scott, a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes that one of the most important parts of therapy is having a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. My approach is empathic, collaborative, and person-centered. I strive to create an environment where you can show up authentically, without judgment and without feeling like you need to have all the answers before you begin. I have over six years of experience working with adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, and other mental health challenges. I recognize that no two people experience these challenges in exactly the same way, which is why I tailor therapy to the individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. When appropriate, I incorporate evidence-based interventions such as EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support your individual goals. I believe therapy works best as a partnership. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you—offering support, empathy, and clinical guidance while honoring your autonomy throughout the therapeutic process. Together, we'll create a space that honors who you are, where you are, and where you hope to go.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
