What should a new client know about working with you?

Your first therapy session is a supportive conversation designed to help us understand what you’re going through and what you’d like help with. During this session, Raven will ask about your current concerns, your background, and any goals you may have for therapy. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, grief, life changes, or emotional stress that has become difficult to manage alone. Raven provides a warm, non-judgmental space where you can talk openly while also beginning to develop practical tools to support your emotional well-being. Raven works collaboratively with clients and integrates evidence-based approaches such as CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, and mindfulness-based strategies to help clients gain insight, build coping skills, and move toward meaningful change. By the end of your first session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of your goals for therapy and the next steps in your treatment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Clients often share that they appreciate my calm presence and my ability to gently challenge patterns that are no longer serving them. My goal is not only symptom relief, but helping you build resilience, insight, and tools that support long-term emotional wellness.
