Raymond Archuleta, LCSW

Psychotherapist
UT
I’m a licensed clinical social worker with nearly two decades of experience helping people navigate life’s challenges and reconnect with their sense of strength and purpose. My professional journey began in 2005 and has taken me through many areas of mental health care, including residential treatment, outpatient counseling, crisis care, and substance use recovery. Over the years, I’ve come to believe deeply in a holistic approach to healing—one that honors the mind, body, and spirit as interconnected parts of a whole. I grew up in a diverse community, which shaped my appreciation for seeing the world through many different lenses. I’m passionate about creating safe, affirming spaces for individuals from all walks of life, including those who identify with marginalized or LGBTQIA+ communities, and for anyone navigating religious or spiritual transitions. Outside of therapy, I’m a fitness enthusiast and certified personal trainer and nutrition coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Physical wellness and movement are key elements of how I help patients build resilience and a sense of empowerment in their daily lives. Please note: I am accepting new patients for ongoing therapy sessions. I do not provide medication management support.

What should a new client know about working with you?

When we work together, I want you to feel seen, supported, and understood. I believe every person already holds the capacity for healing within them—it’s my job to help you reconnect with that inner strength and move toward greater alignment with your core values. My approach draws on evidence-based practices and integrative therapies, including psychedelic-assisted treatments such as ketamine therapy, which can be powerful tools for transformation when used safely and intentionally. I see therapy as a collaborative process where we explore the mental, emotional, and physical aspects of your well-being. Whether you’re seeking clarity, healing from trauma, or looking to create lasting changes in your life, I aim to provide a compassionate and grounded space for that growth. My ultimate goal is to help you feel more connected, resilient, and ready to thrive.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I start with a thorough evaluation to understand your history, current challenges, and priorities. Together, we create a personalized plan that may include medication management, therapy referrals, or lifestyle strategies to strengthen overall wellness.

After scheduling your appointment, you will receive an email from Stella Mental Health (formerly Numinus) containing your intake paperwork. Please allow about 30 minutes to complete this form. Your responses will help your provider prepare for your upcoming appointment. All patients are required to complete the intake form 24 business hours before their appointment. You will receive a phone call from one of our dedicated Care Advocates, who can answer any questions you may have. Please be prepared to provide a credit card to keep on file for co-pays or cancellation fees. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full intake appointment fee ($292). During your intake appointment, you’ll spend 60 minutes with your provider collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to your needs. If in-person treatments are recommended—such as TMS, Spravato, DSR SGB, or ketamine therapy—our care team will guide you through the process and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
