Psychotherapist

Hi, I’m Raymond Bryant Jr., LCSW, and I’m glad you’re here. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you are not sure what to expect. My goal is to create a space where you or your child feels safe, heard, and supported from the very first session. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience working with children, teens, and families, primarily through telehealth. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University, and over the years I have worked in schools, community programs, outpatient settings, and virtual therapy platforms supporting youth through a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges. I specialize in helping children, adolescents, and young adults navigate anxiety, emotional regulation, life transitions, school related stress, and behavioral concerns. My approach is practical, strengths based, and collaborative. I often use evidence based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy, while always tailoring sessions to meet each client’s unique needs and developmental level. In sessions, you can expect a calm, structured, and supportive environment. I believe progress happens when clients feel understood and empowered, so we work together to build coping skills, confidence, and emotional insight at a pace that feels right. For younger clients, I also value partnering closely with parents and caregivers to support growth outside of sessions. I became a therapist because I have always been drawn to helping young people feel seen and supported during pivotal moments in their lives. I have worked closely with children and families in schools, foster care systems, and clinical settings, and those experiences shaped my belief that early support can make a lasting difference. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my family, staying active, and continuing to learn new ways to better serve the clients I work with. I bring a grounded,
