Getting to know Raymond Landry

I consider my style of counseling as an eclectic mix of evidence based practices that feel more like a casual conversation about the things you want to address or work on rather than a drilling and asking “and how do you feel about that” or “ I hear what you are saying (then repeats what was just said verbatim)”. This starts with the intake process and then into latter sessions when we have identified goals and begin the actual work of therapy and evoking changes. I feel my styles are a mix of Rogerian, CBT, Jungian, ACT, and MI I have worked in the mental health field since 2012 in several rolls from certified peer, community drop in centers, respite, in community settings, in home settings, DMH programs, substance use clinics, recovery homes, hospitals, in office clinician, and mental health clinics in the Western Mass area. I am dual licensed as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LADC1). I additionally have a Massachusetts Problem Gambling Certification (MA-PGS). Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-CT), and a Vermont Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor - Interim Telehealth Registration .
