It took me seven years to attain my Bachelor’s Degree and then two more years for my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Missouri, which was followed by two years of supervision to become licensed. After 20 plus years in the field, I finished my Doctorate of Education in Community Care and Counseling. I became a social worker because I did not want others to suffer. I hate to see suffering in the world. I believe there are true things people can do to feel better. My goals for you Goal setting should include the direction of the participant who identifies how they would like their life to be different.
