Rebecca Bellanti, LPC

Psychotherapist
WI
Hello, my name is Rebecca Bellanti. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Counseling from Regent University and have been practicing for 6 years. I have experience seeing clients both in person and virtually. I work primarily with men and women ages 16 and up and specialize in women’s issues, trauma, mood disorders, and grief. I use approaches such as Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. My approach I believe it is necessary to listen well and give clients as much time as they need to explore their issues. I utilize Mindfulness-Based Counseling, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral, Visual, and Humanistic approaches. I often request feedback about what is helping and what is not and make changes to ensure the best care for my clients. My focus I often meet individuals working to resolve relationship issues or work through trauma, whether physical, sexual, or emotional. I also work with clients dealing with mood disorders such as anxiety, depression, and panic attacks. My communication style I create a no-judgment space where clients can talk about as much or as little as they feel comfortable with. I offer feedback and gently challenge when necessary. I am a listener at heart. Therapy can be difficult; people need to be heard and leave feeling cared for. When appropriate, humor can make it easier. My journey to mental healthcare I have wanted to be a therapist since high school. I am intensely curious and interested in people. My own struggles with anxiety taught me how painful mental health issues can be. I wanted to offer others what I have learned about suffering and how it has shaped me. I count it an honor to walk with others in their pain, joy, and healing. My goals for you Goal setting is a two-person process. At times, it is hard for a client to communicate what they want to achieve.
