My communication style I enjoy building a rapport with my clients. I am positive and encouraging. I am supportive. I use humor too because sometimes laughter helps! My clients know that I am here for them and everything is confidential. My journey to mental healthcare I studied psychology at Boston University. Then earned my Master of Social Work from Colmbia School of Social Work. I worked in schools for many years. Once I had my daughter, I switched to my private practice, which allowed me flexibility to be with her. I am proud to be a social worker, and I feel that it is a privilege to spend my days helping others. My goals for you It's important to stay where the client is. Together we can identify goals to work on and check in on how the progress is going. My first session with you During the first session, it is am opportunity to get to know the client and start building a rapport. It is important that the client feels comfortable and that we are a correct fit.
