I am a psychotherapist specializing in trauma recovery including C-PTSD, narcissistic abuse and family scapegoat abuse. I do not prescribe medications. I utilize a holistic approach, encompassing mind, body, and spirit to help you address your concerns. I specialize in trauma recovery, including (C)PTSD, narcissistic abuse, anxiety, depression, communication, spirituality, and other life concerns. I hold an MA in Counseling from St. Edward’s University. I hold advanced certifications in both EMDR and clinical hypnotherapy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am direct, trauma informed, down to earth, approachable and intuitive. I will meet you where you are in life and help you explore and achieve goals through counseling modalities of talk therapy. Communication is key for the therapeutic process to work. You will find that I check in with you from time to time to make sure I am using the best approach for your specific way of understanding.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I offer a relaxed, calm atmosphere, free of judgement where you can unpack and explore sensitive issues. Your first session will be an intake where I gather historical, background, information relative to your presenting concerns; creating a personalized roadmap that will help in understanding your journey both past and present. We will discuss your goals for therapy and address any questions or concerns you may have regarding the therapeutic process. I offer psychoeducation along the way to help you understand the therapeutic process. I may give you homework for between sessions to better serve in your healing.
