Psychotherapist

Are you facing loneliness or depression, anxiety, a loss of passion, infidelity, trauma, or major disagreements in your relationship? Welcome, singles and couples seeking therapy in Richmond, VA and online! I see adults of all ages, and have broad clinical experience, including individual therapy as well as specializing in couples therapy and mid-life counseling. Perhaps you feel unfulfilled or anxious, your marriage hasn’t turned out like you expected, or you are facing job stress or emotional pain, or relationship conflict. For many, mid-life brings unexpected questions—about your relationship, your body, your purpose, or whether the life you’ve built still fits. It’s a time of transition, and also tremendous possibility. Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to study with Master Counselor Demetrios Peratsakis, lead statewide counseling organizations, and train fellow therapists. As a Licensed Professional Counselor in RIchmond, VA, and a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional, I now offer concierge-level therapy focused on helping couples and individuals navigate challenges with clarity, insight, and renewed connection. Nothing is off the table in our sessions. Whether you're rebuilding after betrayal, craving deeper intimacy, feeling invisible in your relationship, or wondering what’s next, this work is an investment in your future. You'll find my approach straightforward yet compassionate, blending intelligence, humor, and empathy. I draw from Adlerian therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), using evidence-based strategies tailored to your unique story. I am nonjudgmental, non-moralistic, and fanatical about applying counseling theory to real-life issues. All types of relationships are welcome.
