Psychotherapist
509 Washington Ave, Newtown, PA
Welcome, I'm Rebecca. Does life throw you curveballs, or does life feel like one big curveball? No matter the circumstances, having a trusted person to listen and validate, with unconditional positive regard, can bring comfort and ultimately healing. I welcome the opportunity to hold whatever feels bad and painful as we work together to nourish your true self and create a more gratifying and meaningful life. I enjoy working with a wide range of individuals and specialize in adolescents and young adults struggling with depression, anxiety, and self-harm. I understand the difficulties teenagers face in a world that often feels cruel. I hold a Master's in Clinical and Medical Social Work from Bryn Mawr College and have a certification in the treatment of co-occurring disorders-mental health struggles combined with substance use issues. I also enjoy working with individuals who identify as highly sensitive persons (HSP) and have keen insight into the life struggles and unique gifts that HSPs possess. I work particularly well with individuals who may have had previous therapy experiences that felt too “cookie cutter.” I do not presume there is a one-formula approach that fits all, and I will validate your unique life experience throughout our work together. Above all, I provide therapy of depth, insight, and a focus on relationships. Whether you are experiencing adjustment difficulties, emotional problems of living, or chronic mental health struggles, I encourage you to reach out. Therapy is a place to know more about yourself and also to feel known by another. Feel free to contact me for a free, brief phone consultation. I am humbled by the opportunity to know you.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
