Rebecca is a licensed clinical social worker based in Los Angeles, California. Rebecca's goal is to work with you to help you better understand yourself: your thoughts, emotions, experiences, and interactions with the world around you. I want to help you appreciate your strengths and resiliency. With Rebecca's help, you will develop tools to create a happier, more meaningful life. Rebecca Levine, LCSW earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan and her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California. After she completed her master’s training, Rebecca worked for many years as a therapist for the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health at an outpatient mental health clinic where she focused on individual therapy and group therapy, as well as bio-psycho-social assessments, rehabilitative services, and graduate student supervision. Because every person is unique, Rebecca tailors her approach to best fit each individual, focusing on a collaborative, curious, compassionate, and strengths-based approach that draws on various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic, Mindfulness Based Techniques, and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT). She focuses on working with individuals ages 18 and older experiencing a variety of challenges including anxiety, panic, stress, depression, trauma-reactions, interpersonal and relationship problems, social anxiety, and life transitions. It may take an immense amount of courage to reach out for help and acknowledge that changes are needed in order to improve your quality of life. As a therapist, Rebecca creates a safe, trusting, non-judgmental space, a space in which you can be yourself and be heard. Rebecca enables you to examine your internal and external experiences at your own pace and focus on goals that are most meaningful to you.
