Getting to know Rebecca Ogle

Having difficulty tuning out everyone else and listening to your own intuition? Does it feel like something is missing from your life, but you're not completely sure what? If so, there is hope. I will walk alongside you on your mental health journey with validation, gentleness, and practical suggestions.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Eclectic, collaborative, and person-centered is how I would describe my approach. I enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ folks, recovering co-dependents, and fellow social workers. I am a queer, neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed provider who's interested in intersectional feminism. I am Health at Every Size Oriented. I'm also a parent. I believe good therapy includes genuine connection and humor. I will laugh at your jokes (if they're funny), and maybe even make a few (but no guarantees they'll be funny).

What is your typical process for working with clients?

New clients will complete a set of intake forms that will ask about mental health history, physical health history, medications, family history, and so on. The intake session will be 60 minutes. During the first session or two, we will review the intake forms and I may ask follow-up questions. We will also discuss your goals for therapy and how you will know when you are ready to graduate. We may discuss your mental health diagnosis / diagnoses depending on relevance and your interest.
