Getting to know Rebecca Peng

My bicultural upbringing allows me to provide therapy both in English and Mandarin. I was raised by Buddhist Chinese parents and moved to the United States as a teenager to attend public high school in Silicon Valley. I earned a bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master's degree in Counseling from San Francisco State University. I hold a license in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFC 52829). My own path of healing and growth has given me profound empathy for individuals who suffer from emotional pain and unsatisfying relationships. I am devoted to the study and practice of psychotherapy and continue to deepen my understanding of mental health issues and the healing process. It is a humbling experience to guide clients on their journey to overcome mental health barriers and to witness their life transformations. I hope I have the honor to serve you and your loved ones.
