Getting to know Rebecca Queral

Hi! I'm Rebecca, and I'm glad you're here. Different seasons in life bring unique challenges, and therapy is a safe space to work through these challenges and regain a sense of self. I am privileged to walk alongside you during this important work. As a person-centered therapist, I take a cognitive behavioral approach towards empowerment, changing negative thinking patterns, and identifying your strengths to bring positive life-altering changes. I tailor my approach to what you need and provide a safe space to speak freely without judgment. I earned my master's degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland in 2004. Over the past 20 years, I have worked in a variety of settings, including with children and adolescents in a residential group home and in a specialized school setting. I have also worked in an outpatient mental health clinic providing therapy to adults for a range of conditions, including anger management, substance use, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and stress. For the past ten years, I have been employed by an international healthcare company in several positions: clinical reviewer, clinical coach, quality coach, project manager, program design, and currently as a Clinical Program Manager. My specialties include life transitions, anxiety, stress, and depression. At present, I am only offering telehealth/virtual sessions. I look forward to meeting with you and will discuss availability based on our mutual schedules during our introductory call.
