LA
Welcome! I am a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) committed to supporting you through life’s ups and downs. With compassion and openness, I aim to create a safe space for you to grow toward living a more fulfilling life! My approach My counseling approach integrates existentialism, humanism, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed interventions. Together, we will explore the fundamental human experience, emphasizing personal meaning-making and the inherent potential for growth within you. The incorporation of DBT offers practical life skills with the goal of empowering you to live life on life’s terms. Last but not least, I view trauma not as something that defines you but as an important piece of who you are. Trauma-informed interventions are consistently incorporated into my practice to ensure that your lived experiences are treated with care and respect. Above all, I hope to create a space where you are fully heard and accepted. My focus Your needs, background and context is important to me, and I aim to be culturally relevant and sensitive. I work with a range of presenting needs, including depression, anxiety, addiction, grief and loss, building self-worth, developing self-awareness, problem-solving skills, self-acceptance, emotional expression, exploration of values and identity, trauma processing, relationship issues, and anger management. I also have experience working with neurodivergence and complex trauma. My communication style Therapy is a collaborative process. I hope to model honest and transparent communication while maintaining a space of safety and compassion. My goal through each session is for you to be heard, seen, and understood. When facing difficult situations, you can count on me to remain calm and patient. I will also provide space for you to share feedback on your experience in therapy and verbalize what you need to feel better supported. We are in this together!
