“She was very nice and communicative. She asked me questions and I felt like she really listened to what I was saying. I feel like I got more out of the first sessions than I did with months of therapy with past therapist. I’m very excited to continue working with her.”

Getting to know Rebekah Tozer

*Please note I am a therapist and not a prescriber* Feeling low? Hard to get out of bed? The thought of sunshine makes you want to pull the covers over your head? You might find yourself perpetually on guard, exhausted from the never-ending battle against emotional triggers, barely catching a break on what should be good days. This relentless stress can gnaw at your core, making even your best days feel overshadowed by an ever-present cloud. The weight can make it feel impossible to move forward, coloring every interaction and experience. Imagine actually looking forward to your days and feeling calm where there used to be chaos. Clients often tell me how they've turned corners-they're not just getting through the day; they're fully participating in it. They laugh more and handle life's surprises with a steadiness they thought was gone for good. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of South Carolina, which informs my compassionate and evidence-based approach to therapy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I'm not your average bear- er therapist. I will laugh with you, cry with you, cuss with you, and celebrate all your wins.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Sessions with me build a safe space first, ensuring you feel secure and understood. Before we get into anything "heavy" we'll make sure you have the tools you need to stay balanced. Then we will explore your past (when you feel comfortable) and develop a plan to tackle what you're facing now.
