My background includes crisis management, where I?ve developed skills to support individuals in high-stress situations. My clinical approach is integrative and holistic, drawing from a trauma-informed lens and evidence-based methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Family Therapy, Psychodynamics, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I am also committed to addressing the stigma surrounding mental health in these populations and am particularly passionate about supporting both domestic and international adoptees, as well as the parents and soon-to-be parents of adopted children. I hold a Master?s in Social Work from The University of Chicago, which has equipped me with a strong foundation to provide compassionate and effective care.
