Reia Chapman, LCSW

Psychotherapist
NC
Hi, I’m Reia, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work with adults who are feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, or stuck in patterns that aren’t working anymore—especially those who are used to being the “strong one” for everyone else. I have a background in clinical social work and have spent my career helping individuals navigate anxiety, burnout, life transitions, and relationship stress. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but feel exhausted, disconnected, or unsure how to create real change in their day-to-day lives. My approach is warm, direct, and practical. I use evidence-based strategies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but I focus just as much on how things show up in real life—how you respond to stress, communicate your needs, and set boundaries. Sessions are collaborative and focused, with space to process what’s coming up while also building tools you can actually use outside of therapy. I became a therapist because I’ve always been drawn to understanding how people navigate difficult experiences and what actually helps them move forward. I believe therapy should feel both supportive and useful—not just a place to talk, but a place where change happens. Outside of work, I enjoy creative projects, organizing spaces, and spending time in ways that help me reset and stay grounded. If you’re looking for a space where you can be honest, feel supported, and also challenged to grow, I’d be glad to work with you.
