Even strong couples can experience miscommunication, conflict, emotional distance, or difficulty reconnecting. My name is Rena, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in couples therapy and helping partners strengthen their connection. I believe healthy relationships are built on understanding, emotional safety, and intentional communication. Using Gottman Method–based couples therapy, I help partners identify negative patterns, improve communication, rebuild trust, and create a stronger foundation for lasting connection. I support couples navigating conflict, relationship stress, life transitions, intimacy concerns, premarital preparation, and long-term relationship challenges. Together, we focus on understanding each partner’s needs, developing practical tools, and creating shared goals for a healthier, more fulfilling relationship. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based Gottman techniques. Sessions are structured and purposeful while allowing space for vulnerability, reflection, and meaningful conversation. I strive to create an environment where both partners feel heard, respected, and supported. Couples often describe me as approachable, calm, and easy to talk to. I take the work seriously while creating a space where difficult conversations feel more manageable. Through therapy, we work together to improve communication, deepen emotional connection, and help your relationship move toward greater security and understanding. What is your typical process for working with clients?

Once you book an appointment with me, our Administrative Team will create a patient chart for you and send you paperwork that you will need to complete so that I can prepare for our first session. Our Billing Department will also be in contact with you, PRIOR to your first appointment verify your insurance benefits and ensure that you understand any out of pockets costs that you may have.
