Hi there, I'm Rena! Hello, I am Rena Maus. I am a licensed professional counselor with certifications in trauma and trauma-related issues such as anxiety and depression. I also hold certifications in functional medicine and integrated health. I use mindfulness and areas of somatic healing. I earned my Master's in General Psychology from Texas A&M University Central Texas. My approach I'll use solution-focused, reality-based theories. My focus I work with women who have experienced anxiety or depression. Many of them have had traumatic pasts. Additionally, I work with ADHD, PTSD, as well as daily life problems or relationship issues. My communication style I am calm and direct. Some clients are more ready or have had more experience in therapy. Others are new and need to go slow. I am patient and bring a grounding influence to the environment. My journey to mental healthcare I have endured many traumas throughout my youth and adulthood. It only seemed natural, as I was working through my own healing, to help others.
