UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. My focus has been on trauma, anxiety, and childhood wounds-issues we can all relate to but may hesitate to discuss or even acknowledge. I approach my work with respect, compassion, and realism. Effective therapy isn't about ignoring the bad and focusing only on the good; it's about acknowledging, analyzing, and working through the difficult experiences so we can better understand ourselves, how we want to live our lives, and how to do so. I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Central Florida and earned my Bachelor's degree from Florida International University, which have both shaped my approach to healing and growth.
