"Hi, I'm Rene. Welcome to my page! Currently, my main role is to be a stay-at-home mom to three young children. This looks like navigating the daily grind of parenting, homeschooling, and balancing relationships. I am active in my church and enjoy working around my homestead, spending time with my horses, and cherishing moments with friends and family. Life can be challenging at times, whether it's due to major life transitions, trauma, grief, or difficult decisions. These experiences can impact our whole being—spiritually, emotionally, relationally, and physically—especially if we don't have the proper tools to work through them. You may be feeling overwhelmed, alone, scared, frustrated, or confused. I'm here to help guide your mental health journey, and together, we can learn how to manage these challenges. In 2014, I graduated from The Ohio State University with a Master’s degree in Social Work. As a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisory Designation (LISW-S) and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), my career has taken me through various roles in foster care, human trafficking, medical social work, and community mental health. I primarily work with clients navigating life transitions, relational issues, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, recovery from abuse/trauma, faith concerns, family and life adjustment issues, and renewed hope. I focus on supporting women, teens, and families by using a mix of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, and Person-Centered therapies. I provide therapy through a Biblical lens, recognizing the importance that spirituality has in a person's life. I've spent many years working in experiential settings, where I worked alongside horses to help people through their healing journey. By challenging and changing the way you think, you can feel empowered to enact significant change in your life. I am committed to developing a trusting relationship in which you feel heard.
