Hello, I'm Renee! It takes great courage to begin the search for a therapist, so please take a moment to pause, take a deep breath, and acknowledge the success in this first step toward healing. We all need support from time to time and are not made to carry the burdens of life alone. An extra support system through a warm and accepting therapeutic relationship can be incredibly beneficial and helpful. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am a Master's Level Social Worker with advanced training and practice suited to aid individuals and families navigate through some of life's struggles. My philosophy is that our challenges in life can be seen as stumbling blocks or stepping stones. I partner with my clients to achieve the latter. In our sessions, you may experience identifying and restructuring unhealthy thought patterns and behaviors, learning emotional regulation skills, or working through deep trauma. You will always have a safe, nonjudgmental environment and a listening ear. Each client and their experience is unique, and I work with each individually to set the goals you wish to achieve. I have almost 20 years of experience working in the Behavioral Health field as both an Inpatient and Outpatient therapist, as Director of multiple Clinical Programs, both for and not for profit, and as an individual therapist. This experience has provided me the opportunity to become fully informed on life challenges, transitions, and traumatic experiences for all ages. Care and compassion are essential to working through such experiences, and I impart both to my clients. I specialize in a wide range of areas including depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, domestic violence, and PTSD.
