Healing begins when you feel understood – not judged, rushed, or expected to have everything figured out. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the weight of everyday life, therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and reconnect with the version of yourself that’s been there all along. My role isn’t to tell you who you should be; it’s to walk alongside you as we uncover what has been holding you back and identify meaningful, realistic steps toward the life you want to build. I believe the strongest predictor of successful therapy is the relationship between therapist and client. That’s why I prioritize creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are -without fear of judgment or pressure to be “perfect.” Clients often describe me as warm, genuine, approachable, and easy to talk to, and I strive to bring authenticity, curiosity, and compassion into every session. Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating; sometimes the most meaningful conversations begin with simply feeling comfortable enough to be yourself. My clinical experience spans a variety of mental health and community-based settings, where I’ve supported children, adolescents, young adults, adults, couples and families facing complex emotional and life challenges. I’ve worked with youth and families involved in foster care, Child Welfare Services, adoption services, Wraparound programs, and the juvenile justice system. My background also includes community-based mental health, case management, crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, and providing therapy for children and adolescents experiencing acute behavioral and mental health crises. These experiences have shaped my understanding that healing rarely happens in isolation – our relationships, environments, and life experiences all influence the way we cope, connect, and grow. What should a new client know about working with you?

I recognize that each client’s cultural background, personal experiences, and family values influence the way they view themselves and the world around them. I strive to provide care that is thoughtful, inclusive, and responsive to each individual’s unique lived experience. My goal is for every client to feel respected, understood, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach is collaborative and individualized, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Attachment-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, psychodynamic principles, and trauma-informed care. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I work with clients to understand the underlying patterns contributing to distress while building practical skills that support long-term emotional well-being.
