Getting to know Rhemingtin Rexrode

My goal as a therapist is to offer a safe and productive space to work on whatever is negatively affecting your life. Some days will be full of revelation and joy, some full of sitting in really uncomfortable feelings, and even others that are downright hard. I will be with you through it all. My primary clinical focus is trauma, both current and historical. The goal of treatment is to help your body feel safe in its own skin and to show your mind all the ways it can find joy again. I utilize a variety of interventions with a special consideration toward Person-center Therapy, CBT, REBT, Narrative therapy, Solution focused therapy, and theories based in attachment styles. (That is a lot of mumbo jumbo to say we will focus on you as a person and find the intervention(s) that fit best!) While I focus on trauma, I also work with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, personality disorders, relationship issues, sexual concerns, and more. LGBTQIA+ community members and those practicing non-traditional relationships (Polyamory, Kink, Etc) are warmly welcomed. Outside the office you will most likely find me reading, crafting, or hanging out with my family and our four dogs.
