Rhonda Finch, LIMHP

Psychotherapist
NE
Hi there, I'm Rhonda! Welcome, I'm Rhonda Finch and I'm very happy you're here! I secured my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southern Nazarene University in 2008. I started my private practice in 2011 with a License in Professional Counseling and gained the National Certified Counselor (NCC) credential in 2012. I hold licenses in the states of Nebraska (LIMHP), Missouri (LPC), Oklahoma (LPC), and Washington (LMHC). I've had the privilege to journey with clients for over 13 years. My belief as a clinician holds that the most useful tool in therapy is the collaborative relationship between therapist and client. I operate from what is often referred to as a psychodynamic or relational psychodynamic approach. In therapy, our tasks are to build a trusting relationship, to discover and understand your beliefs and feelings on their deepest levels, to discover how your history and experiences have shaped your beliefs, and then address how these beliefs have either helped or limited you. I'd love to help you get where you desire to be!? My approach I am a Making Sense of Your Worth Facilitator, as well as, utilize The Daring Way methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead. I am a Prepare/Enrich facilitator and I enjoy working with couples to start or renew intimacy, move through gridlock, and build healthy communication. My goal is to bring practical skills that help inside and outside of therapy so couples can experience the kind of relationship they desire. Trained as a family systems therapist, I keep patterns of interaction in mind as I work with couples.
