What should a new client know about working with you?

Richard focuses on helping adolescents and adults that find themselves feeling stuck and desiring change in patterns of thought, feeling, and behavior that no longer benefit them. These issues may be leading to problems in relationships, unclear or negative feelings of self, and sad and anxious feelings.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

While Richard’s approach to therapy integrates mixed evidence-based treatments to optimize care, he favors a person-centered/Rogerian therapeutic approach believing that every person has the wisdom, the ability, and the desire to reach their potential through personal growth and change.
