I earned my Masters in Counseling from the University of North Texas, Denton and I've been treating mental health and addiction issues for 30 years. My proficiency extends to addressing grief issues, HIV and AIDS, dual diagnosis, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I've worked with varied populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Currently, I run a private online practice in Meridian, Texas, providing therapy from a cognitive-behavioral perspective. I'm also knowledgeable in gestalt therapy. I offer Christian counseling upon request, but my practice is all-embracing, catering to all spiritual beliefs. I am skilled in change stages and motivational interviewing, and certified to teach "Developing Capable Young People" to caretakers. My therapeutic approach fosters love, acceptance, and support, with an aim that clients draw practical insights from each session. My office hours are 10am-7pm Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri, with Thursdays from 10am-5pm. I also make occasional Saturday appointments. With regard to my no-show policy, please notify me 24 hours in advance if you'll miss a live chat or video appointment. No-shows and same-day cancellations incur a fee of $118.08 and $69.53 respectively. Please understand I do not provide on-demand counseling.
