Psychotherapist
NC
God is good all the time, all the time God is good. I pray that your life will be filled with good health, strength, and joy. Amen. Let's talk. Many people see therapy as a one-way conversation with little opportunity to interact and experience each other as real people. I can promise you this one thing: I am as real as it gets. No judgment here. I am the type of therapist who understands the fear of being judged, the fear of change, and the fear of the unknown. Most importantly, I understand pride and the effect of being prideful. Seeking therapy can be fearful, especially if you are already dealing with an overwhelming past. I am a retired Army nurse with experience treating Soldiers as they worked through PTSD and substance abuse. As a civilian, I have over 10 years of experience as a dedicated Drug and Alcohol Therapist providing treatment and support for those struggling with addiction. The hallmark of my sessions is compassion, empathy, and patience. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of North Carolina and a Bachelor's degree from Fayetteville State University. Let's work together! You really can have a life full of good health, strength, and joy that allows you to live, partake in, and enjoy the days to come. Anything that may have delayed you cannot deny you peace. I'm here to let you know that your setbacks are setups for much success in life.
